Causes We Support

The Organization for Autism Research (OAR) was created in December 2001– the product of the shared vision and unique life experiences of OAR’s seven founders. Led by these parents and grandparents of children and adults on the autism spectrum, OAR set out to use applied science to answer questions that parents, families, individuals with autism, teachers and caregivers confront daily. No other autism organization has this singular focus.

MPC's focus has turned to support Jaclyn Trezza as she will be running in the annual MS Marathon. To support Jaclyn please visit:

"I am running for the only place in the U.S. that conducts FDA approved stem cell research with the singular aim: to find a cause and cure for MS in our lifetime. My employer. Phase I of the Clinical Stem Cell Trial was a huge success and as we begin Phase I I we are in need of funding. 100% of proceeds will go to Phase II of the Stem Cell Trial so that Dr. Sadiq and TISCH MS Research Center can continue cutting edge research and give our patients hope in stem cell treatments.

Please help me by donating using the 'Give Now' button. I know in the 13th mile I will feel tired and weak, but I will run harder and stronger for all those affected by MS. Spread the word by sharing my page! Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means so much!"

PLEASE Visit Walk 4 Friends by Lauren Mechaly

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

As many of you know, my family participates in the annual Walk4Friends, a one mile walk/run to raise funds for Friendship Circle, a not-for-profit organization that serves children and adults with special needs through educational, social and recreational programs. In the past year, the Friendship Circle was able to start many new programs, including art, cooking, life skills, and fitness. The camp program has been expanded to now include a spring break camp and an early summer camp. This very special organization is close to our hearts because it helps pair teenage volunteers with children with disabilities, offering support not only to the children but to their families as well. Please help support this wonderful organization! You can learn about who they are and what they do by visiting their website (

This year, my team will be walking again. Last year, through generous donations, we were able to raise more than $3,600. Please help us exceed that amount this year! Our new goal is $5,400, and with your help, we can do it! Donations can be made online through my family's page at

For those not comfortable making online donations, you can mail a check to:

26 Wickatunk Road

Please include your telephone number on your check, as well as our team name (Prager Crew).

Please feel free to pass this email along to your family and friends. On behalf of the special needs community, thank you.
